A San Antonio woman is sentenced to more than three years in federal prison for aiming a laser pointer at a police helicopter.
Sandra Roberson was accused of repeatedly pointing the laser at a San Antonio Police Department helicopter in November of last year, forcing the crew to withdraw from investigating a shooting.
Police arrested Roberson in January, and she pleaded guilty in September. A federal judge sentenced her to 37 months in prison on Tuesday.
