By The football coach at Weslaco East High School has been reprimanded following a Monday meeting by the district’s Board of Trustees. Michael Burget was disciplined for a Level Three grievance filed against him in June.
The board did not give details about the nature of the grievance, though officials said Burget was not in danger of being fired. Burget has been the head coach at Weslaco East since 2013.
