UTRGV Says International Student Visas Restored

0

The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley says nine international students have had their visas restored by the federal government.

UTRGV officials say the nine affected students had their records reactivated on the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System. At least four of those students filed a lawsuit against the government after their visas were revoked earlier this month.

The Trump Administration is reportedly developing a new policy that will guide student visa terminations in the future.
