A Utah family is facing federal charges for allegedly conspiring to smuggle crude oil in the United States.
James Jensen and his wife Kelly were arrested Wednesday and ordered to report to the federal courthouse in Brownsville by May 8th. Their two sons have already made their initial court appearance in Brownsville.
Federal prosecutors accuse the family of smuggling nearly three-thousand shipments of crude into the U.S. and laundering the money generated. Federal agents raided Arroyo Terminals in Rio Hondo last week as part of the investigation.
