Two suspects have been arrested after a pursuit and crash last week in Hidalgo County. The Texas Department of Public Safety says law enforcement began chasing the suspects on Thursday in McAllen.
The suspects were taken into custody after they crashed in a heavily wooded area near the Rio Grande River in Hidalgo. Investigators confirmed that the Jeep driven by the suspect had been stolen in Corpus Christi. The case is still under investigation.
