President Trump is walking back tariffs on some automakers. Trump gave a speech Tuesday north of Detroit, in the heartland of the Big 3 U.S. automakers. His speech came after Trump signed a pair of executive orders that would remove tariffs that Ford, GM and other automakers said would raise the cost of production. The executive orders would also allow vehicles that go through final assembly in the U.S. to qualify for tariff relief.
