Texas Wants Payback

Texas wants the federal government to pay back some eleven-billion dollars that was spent on border security.

Senator John Cornyn says the program has been highly successful. He says his home state should be honored for the way it defended the border.

Texas spend nearly five-billion dollars on border wall construction and four-billion on National Guard deployment.
