Officials say the Telemundo reporter who died covering the Super Bowl in New Orleans had Xanax in his system. Adam Manzano did not have a prescription for the anti-anxiety drug Alprazolam, which is often sold under the brand name Xanax.

Police also found the same drug at the house of the suspect arrested in connection with his death, Danette Colbert. She has a well-founded criminal history that includes allegations of drugging men and stealing tens and thousands of dollars from them using their phones.

Alprazolam can be used as a sedative or a muscle relaxant, and it can lead to an overdose when it is mixed with alcohol.
