An online survey says Plano is one of the best places to live in the nation.
Niche’s Best Cities to Live in America list for 2025 puts the North Texas city in sixth place in its top ten. The annual ranking is based on factors such as affordability, schools, safety, and job opportunities.
The 2025 ranking evaluated 230 cities and more than 18 thousand smaller towns across the country.
The only other Texas city in the top ten is The Woodlands, a suburb north of Houston, at number two. The Chicago suburb of Naperville tops the list.
