State Rep Introduces Bill Calling On Feds To Repay TX For Border Security Costs

A Republican state representative is backing a bill requiring the federal government to reimburse Texas for border security costs during the Biden administration.

Representative Roger Williams of Willow Park introduced the bill on Tuesday, less than three weeks after Governor Greg Abbott started calling on the feds to reimburse Texas 11 billion dollars.

Abbott met with President Donald Trump last week, and he’s expected to return to Washington, DC, this week to discuss the requested reimbursement with members of Congress.
