An Edinburg airport has reopened after a rough landing damaged a small plane. The runway at South Texas International Airport was closed after the landing gear on a Cessna 210 collapsed Thursday.

Airport officials said windy conditions played a role in the gear collapse. The City of Edinburg said everyone on the plane was evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.
