The son of Starr County Judge Eloy Vera has been charged with cattle theft. Eloy Vera, Junior allegedly took cattle from a woman’s property without permission in August.
The woman had inherited the cattle and Vera reportedly took them and then refused to say where they were being kept, He was arraigned earlier this week and was given a five-thousand-dollar bond.
