Sec Of State Rubio Pulls Out Of Crucial Ukraine Talks

High level talks between U.S. and Ukrainian officials and other nations fell apart Wednesday after Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoy Steve Witkoff declined to attend a meeting in London.

The talks are aimed at reaching a ceasefire deal between Ukraine and Russia. President Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg was still planning to meet with Ukrainian ministers, however.

Last week, Rubio said the U.S. was prepared to walk away from diplomatic efforts without any measurable progress.
