A Northwest Side shooting range is being sued because of stray bullets that reportedly land on a neighboring property. The lawsuit claims bullets from the San Antonio Target, Hunting and Fishing Club “regularly trespass” on an adjacent parcel of 40 mostly undeveloped acres on West Hausman Road near JV Bacon Parkway.
The plaintiffs point out a 2022 case when a bicyclist on a nearby trail was knocked off his bike when a shotgun pellet hit his helmet. A lawsuit against the gun club because of that incident was dismissed on Tuesday.
