By Party City plans to auction off the leases for some of its South Texas locations next month. The company plans to auction the leases for nearly 700 locations as part of its ongoing bankruptcy.
Leases for stores in Brownsville, Edinburg, Harlingen, Laredo and McAllen are on that list and could be sold if the bankruptcy court approves. A specific date has not been announced, though the real estate firm handling the auction expects it to happen in early February.
