Postal workers are expressing concerns about their agency possibly being taken over by the Commerce Department. USPS workers held demonstrations against the potential takeover in cities across the country yesterday.
Postmaster General Louis DeJoy said last week that he wants to cut thousands of jobs and billions of dollars from the Postal Service budget. Opponents believe those reductions would negatively impact customers and damage the economy.
