By Police in Brownsville are investigating a Thanksgiving Day fire that damaged a local park. The city’s Parks and Recreation Department says a jungle gym was destroyed by the fire in McNair Park on November 28th.
Investigators believe the fire was deliberately set and are asking the public to keep an eye out to prevent further vandalism. Temporary equipment will be brought in to replace the jungle gym until a permanent replacement is installed sometime next year.
