South Texas drivers are being warned not to drink and then get behind the wheel during the holidays.
Members of the Rio Grande Valley District Attorney Coalition held a kick-off event for the DWI No Refusal enforcement effort. Beginning today, anyone pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving will either take a breath test or will be forced to take a blood test.
The effort will span Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr and Willacy counties and will last through January 2nd.
