Multiple lawsuits are being filed over the deadly Interstate 35 crash in Austin earlier this month. Five people were killed in the 17-vehicle pile-up, which has now led to multiple lawsuits totaling 150-million-dollars combined.
One accuses Amazon Logistics and ZBN Transport of negligence, alleging a truck driver with a history of reckless driving plowed into stopped traffic, causing the crash.
The driver, also named in the lawsuit, was charged with multiple counts of intoxication manslaughter and is accused of being on central nervous system depressants at the time of the accident.
