The City of Mission is extending its current emergency declaration following a special city council meeting. The council met in executive session on Saturday to discuss a cyber-attack that affected city computer systems.

The council voted to extend the declaration for another week but refused to offer any additional details about the attack.

Reports indicate the police department has been unable to run license plates and driver’s licenses through state databases since the attack.
