Measles Cases Rise

There are now 561 measles cases in Texas which are linked to an outbreak among members of a Mennonite church that opposes vaccinations.

New numbers came out today and show about two-dozen new cases since Friday. Fifty-eight of the patients have been hospitalized. The United States declared measles eliminated in the year 2000.
