McAllen police are working to determine what caused a man to die and a woman to be hospitalized. Officers responded during the noon hour Monday to a medical assistance call from a motel along Business 83 near Cynthia Street.
A man was dead when they arrived and a woman was rushed to the hospital. It’s not known what prompted the call for medical help but police did not indicate that any weapons were involved.
