McAllen’s mayor says he’s happy with the progress the city has made during the first three years of his term. Mayor Javier Villalobos gave his State of the City address Wednesday at the McAllen Convention Center.
Villalobos talked about “the McAllen way,” highlighting collaborations that have enhanced public safety, economic development, education and the arts. He said that the city will keep making “bold investments” to achieve long-term goals and ensure no one is left behind.
