McAllen Elevates Assistant City Attorney Stevenson To Head City’s Legal Department

The city of McAllen continues to promote from within, naming longtime assistant city attorney Austin Stevenson as its new full-time City Attorney.

Stevenson had been appointed interim city attorney after his boss, Isaac Tawil, was chosen by the City Commission to be the new city manager in July. Stevenson has been a part of McAllen’s legal department for more than a decade.
