By Local governments are offering some help to property owners trying to clean up after recent rain and flooding. The City of McAllen has announced that it is waiving some building permit fees for flood-related repairs. The waiver applies to non-structural repairs such as drywall, flooring, roofing and minor carpentry. The City of Alamo is also offering a similar waiver for the next three months.
