Officials at McAllen International Airport say no one was injured when a small plane lost a tire while taxiing on Saturday morning. The plane’s mechanical problem led to an operations delay of about two hours.

Incoming flights were diverted to Valley International in Harlingen while the single-engine plane was removed from the runway. Normal operations resumed around 12:30 on Saturday afternoon.
