A man who tried to cross into the U.S. from Mexico while possessing child pornography is headed to federal prison.
Twenty-two-year-old Kevin Santos-Moya was arrested at the Los Indios Port of Entry in Brownsville in 2023. Investigators found images and videos of child sexual abuse on his iPhone during a search.
He pled guilty last May and was sentenced this week to five years in prison and ten years of supervised release. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.
