Man Sentenced To 11 Years In UPS Cocaine Case

A Hidalgo man will spend more than a decade in prison for his role in a drug trafficking scheme involving UPS drivers.

Federal officials said 47-year-old Enrique Gamez would ship cocaine smuggled across the border to drug dealers in multiple states.

DEA agents arrested Gamez and several others, including two UPS drivers in the area. Gamez was sentenced to eleven years and four months behind bars.
