A man who faces murder charges for a shooting at the Brownsville Public Library will be examined by a doctor to determine if he is competent to stand trial.
Humberto Paz was arrested in May after he allegedly shot and killed Vahid Khaledi at the library on Central Boulevard.
An evaluation of Paz was reportedly done yesterday and the results will be shared with the court during a hearing on January 6th. Paz is being held in jail on a three-point-seven-million-dollar bond.
