A man arrested for human smuggling a few months ago has been arrested again on the same charges.
The Border Patrol says a truck driven by Rogelio Rodriguez was stopped at the Falfurrias checkpoint last week. Agents found 22 people hiding in cardboard boxes inside the trailer.
Rodriguez was stopped and arrested at the same checkpoint in November while driving a truck with 49 illegal immigrants hidden inside. He remains in custody following his initial appearance in federal court in Corpus Christi.
