Pharr police recently arrested a man for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a migrant.
Authorities say 21-year-old Jesus Grimaldo picked up a Honduran migrant that was separated from her group and let her stay at his house, but one day he threatened her for money while holding a rifle.
Grimaldo is also accused of sexually assaulting the victim before she was rescued. His bond is set at 600-thousand-dollars.
