Incumbents Win Re-Election In 3 Contested State House Races

The incumbents in the three state House seats in the Valley that were contested all won re-election.

In the Lower Valley’s District 37, Janie Lopez won a second term, beating Jonathan Gracia with 55 percent of the vote.

In the Mid Valley, District 39 Representative Armando Martinez won re-election to a 10th term, easily defeating Jimmy Garcia with 61 percent of the vote. And in the Upper Valley’s District 41, Bobby Guerra beat John “Doc” Guerra in a rematch, garnering 54 percent of the vote to win a 7th term.
