Federal officials are announcing the arrests of nine criminal illegal immigrants in the Houston area in February.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested the illegals last month with the assistance of U.S. Marshals, state troopers, and the Texas Office of Attorney General.
The illegal immigrants from El Salvador, Mexico, Cuba, Vietnam, and the Philippines had been charged or convicted of crimes including child sex assault, prostitution, drug and weapons charges, kidnapping, and DWI. They are all subject to deportation.
