By The winter storm is keeping emergency rooms busy. Dr. Ralph Riviello, who heads the ER at San Antonio’s University Hospital, says he’s worried about a constant stream of homeless people suffering from hypothermia.
Once clothes get wet, he says it’s difficult to stay warm on a day like this. For others, he’s more worried about slips and falls.
