A high school student is in custody after a fatal shooting in Garland. Police say a man was shot to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex Saturday night.
Police were able to track the suspect on foot and arrest them a short time later. Officials say the suspect is a 16-year-old student at Sachse High School. The shooting is not believed to be random at this time but police are still investigating.
