A high-ranking Mexican gang member has been arrested in Edinburg. U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks announced the arrest of the gang member on social media Sunday.
Banks said the man was a lieutenant in the Partido Revolucionaro Mexicano gang and was reportedly in charge of “North Hidalgo.” The man was deported from the U.S. in 2021 and will be prosecuted for illegal re-entry.
