Hidalgo County is finally ready to move into its new courthouse. The county announced Friday that the move-in phase is underway, with boxes and packing materials given to the County Clerk, the District Clerk and the Law Library.
Courthouse employees have also been instructed to begin packing their personal items for the move, which will begin on March 22nd. The process will be done in stages to prevent any disruption of the court schedule.
