Healthcare Workers Sign Letter Urging Israeli Arms Embargo and Ceasefire

0

Almost a dozen North Texas healthcare workers are urging President Biden to impose an arms embargo on Israel. The group of doctors joined dozens of others across the country in signing an open letter describing their experiences treating wounded Palestinians in Gaza.

The letter says the group saw numerous wounded civilians, including children, who experienced violence that “must have been deliberately directed at them.” They call for an arms embargo against Israel and for the Biden administration to facilitate a ceasefire. So far, over 41-thousand people have been killed in Israel’s war in Gaza.
