The Hays County Health Department is warning residents they may have been exposed to measles earlier this month.

Officials say a person who tested positive for measles visited San Marcos around February 14th. Anyone who was at Texas State University or a nearby Twin Peaks restaurant that day may have been exposed.

Anyone with symptoms is asked to immediately seek medical attention and get tested. At least 90 cases have been identified in the Texas’ South Plains region, with 16 people now hospitalized.
