Grid Survives Freeze

The embattled Texas power grid is surviving this winter storm. Seth Christensen with the Texas Division of Emergency Management says they have been coordinating with the state’s power generators, which say there are no unexpected outages this week. It was nearly four years ago that Winter Storm Uri plunged the state into darkness for days. Since then, state lawmakers have passed legislation requiring producers to winterize their facilities
