By Four Gateway Church elders have been removed from their positions amid sexual abuse allegations against the church’s former senior pastor.
A church leader said Saturday that the elders knew about accusations that church founder Robert Morris abused a 12-year-old girl, but did little to investigate the allegations.
Morris resigned after the allegations came to light earlier this year. Gateway is reportedly cooperating with a criminal investigation related to the accusations.
