Former Fort Worth ISD superintendent Angelica Ramsey is leaving her job with an agreement that pays her 550-thousand dollars in addition to a full salary and benefits through next August.

Ramsey stepped down Monday amid tensions that ran high between the board and her over her performance and poor testing results, despite recent improvements in scores. An interim superintendent has not yet been named.
