Five Injured As Turbulence Forces Houston-Bound Flight To Land In Waco

Five people are recovering from injuries they suffered on board a flight from Missouri to Houston after turbulence forced it to land in Waco.

The United Express plane was carrying 28 passengers and three crew members when it encountered turbulence from storms in DFW.

The flight was forced to land around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Waco Regional Airport. After the landing, five passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
