A South Texas crude oil company has been raided by federal investigators. Agents reportedly entered the Arroyo Terminals facility in Rio Hondo on Wednesday as part of an investigation into fraudulent oil imports.
The owner was indicted by a federal grand jury on April 17th for allegedly accepting nearly three-thousand shipments of crude oil with fraudulent customs paperwork. The agencies involved in the investigation declined to comment on the purpose of the raid.
