A federal judge is closing the book on a lawsuit filed against two former McAllen police officers. The suit against Ulysses Bautista and Luis Zuniga was closed Monday following a settlement agreement. Aaron Soto of Alamo filed the suit after he was injured during an arrest in 2016.
The officers were seen on dash-cam video throwing Soto to the ground and kicking him in the face after he spat at one of them. Details of the settlement were not released.
