A federal judge is temporarily blocking Elon Musk and his DOGE team from accessing sensitive data at the Social Security Administration.

In a 137-page ruling Thursday from U.S. District Court in Maryland, Judge Ellen Hollander wrote that DOGE “essentially engaged in a fishing expedition at SSA, in search of a fraud epidemic based on little more than suspicion.”

The judge also ordered members of the DOGE team to delete any personal information they obtained from the agency.
