An Edinburg woman was killed and three people were hospitalized following a 2-vehicle crash early Sunday morning just northeast of Edinburg. 28-year-old Itzel Limas was riding in a Honda Accord that was heading west on FM 2812 but in the wrong lane. The car collided with an oncoming Hyundai Santa Fe near Vista Bonita Drive.

Limas and a man who was driving were rushed to DHR Health where Limas died of her injuries. The condition of the driver hasn’t been disclosed. Two men in the Hyundai were also hospitalized but are expected to recover.
