A Edinburg man is facing federal charges after investigators found child sexual abuse material on his phone. The FBI began investigating last month after identifying an account on a messaging app tied to the distribution of child pornography. That led agents to execute a search warrant at the home of Carlos Genaro Rodriguez-Luna, Junior on Tuesday.
A search of the man’s phone found thousands of videos and other images related to child sexual abuse. He was scheduled to make his first appearance in federal court yesterday.
