A North Texas teenager will live on with the vote he cast from his deathbed. Six weeks ago, 18-year-old Tommy Conrad of Greenville was diagnosed with cancer. He told his parents that one of his last wishes was to be able to vote in his first presidential election.
Last Friday, Tommy cast his absentee ballot from the ICU. He died on Saturday, three days before election day. The Hunt County Elections Office confirmed that his ballot counted.
