The Texas Department of Public Safety is identifying a man shot and killed on South Padre Island last weekend.
Investigators say 23-year-old Ruben Ray Martinez died in an officer-involved shooting on Saturday. The shooting happened around 12:40 a.m. at the intersection of Padre Boulevard and Marlin Street.
DPS has not released the name of the agency that was involved in the deadly shooting.
